AI automation for small businesses

Less busywork.
More room to do
your best work.

Your team has better things to do than copy information between apps and chase the next step. Farline builds practical AI workflows for professional-services businesses, with security built in.

Based in Orlando. Working with businesses across the U.S.

Start with the work

What keeps landing
back on your desk?

Start with one recurring bottleneck. Look for the work that moves through your inbox, documents, and business tools, with too much manual handling along the way.

01

Organize incoming
emails and documents

Classify incoming information, pull out useful details, and route it to the right person for review.

02

Prepare the follow-up.
Keep the final say.

Turn approved information into draft responses and follow-ups. Your team reviews before anything is sent.

03

Make internal information
easier to find

Explore a document lookup workflow that answers questions from approved source material and points people back to the evidence.

Illustrative workflow possibilities. The right solution depends on your tools, data, and requirements.

The Farline approach

Useful automation.
Thoughtful safeguards.

A workflow needs more than a clever prompt. It needs clear boundaries around what it can access, what it can do, and what happens when something goes wrong.

Tim Benner, CISSP

Founder of Farline Advisory

My background spans IT, security engineering, governance and risk, and regulated healthcare environments. Hands-on AI adversarial testing informs how I approach workflow design.

Know where your data goes

Hosting, external AI services, and data access are part of the design conversation from the beginning.

Keep people in control

Client staff own the agreed approval steps. Automation supports their decisions and handles the work around them.

Plan for the exceptions

Validation, error handling, and logging help make problems visible and give your team a defined next step.

From idea to a working system

A clear scope. A practical build.

01 / UNDERSTAND

Find the right problem

Describe the current process, the tools involved, and where time gets lost. We assess whether automation is a sensible fit.

02 / BUILD & TEST

Agree on what gets built

Scope, cost, responsibilities, and acceptance criteria are agreed before implementation. Testing includes failure cases and review steps.

03 / HAND OFF & SUPPORT

Give your team a clear path

Document how the workflow operates, who handles approvals, and how support works. Ongoing maintenance follows the agreed scope.

Fixed-scope builds

$2,500–$5,000

Most projects start around $2,500. Final pricing and timing depend on the agreed scope and complexity.

Ongoing monitoring & maintenance

$400–$800 / month

Required for an initial six-month term. Support scope and hour limits are agreed up front; new functionality is quoted separately.

A few useful answers

Before we talk.

Do I need to know exactly what to automate?

No. Start with a task that repeats, takes too much time, or causes delays. You can email a short description before completing the project questionnaire.

Does self-hosted mean all data stays on my server?

No. The workflow engine can run on your infrastructure while calling external AI and other APIs. Where information is processed depends on the services chosen. Any local-only requirement needs to be assessed and designed for explicitly.

Will the workflow make decisions without my team?

Its permitted actions and approval requirements are defined during scoping. Consequential actions have human review unless a different approach is explicitly agreed and justified.

Can we work together outside Orlando?

Yes. Farline is based in Orlando and can work remotely with businesses across the United States.

Let's start with one problem

What's taking up
your team's time?

Tell me what happens today, which tools you use, and what you wish worked differently. A plain-English description is a good place to start.
